Game of Thrones is surely a TV series which is watched and admired by millions of people all over the globe. It is such an enormous production with incredible actors and staff members who all contribute to this show, making it look like a real life story.

Not only does the series have realistic effects, but also an amazing script. Some of the conversations are so deep that they can make you realize things that you actually haven’t even thought about before.

The Game of Thrones 8th and final season airs in less then a week and the fans of the show are looking forward to acknowledging many answers and finally see who will sit on the Iron throne. While you patiently wait the first episode of the new season here are some of the most memorable quotes from the previous ones for you to enjoy and somewhat to recall what the main scenes were.

SPOILERS ALERT! Don’t read further if you haven’t finished watching season 7 yet, for it might ruin your experience.

1. “The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword.” – Ned Stark
Ned Stark – a really noble and honorable man, who believes that everybody should be responsible for what they say and not hide away.

2. “The things I do for love” – Jaime Lannister
Quite a disturbing line, given the events which made Jaime say it, but it might very well prove you that at the end of season 7 he is not the same person who will just push a child out of the window.

3. “When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die.” – Cersei
This quote literally highlights the way things happen in Westeros. Many of the characters sought power, others wanted to take man off power. They all played the game of thrones in their own way and died for it.

4. “Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armour, and it can never be used to hurt you.” – Tyrion
This quote perfectly sums up how wise Tyrion is. He is a really great advisor and has a big heart.

5. “Winter is coming”
A warning everyone should have paid more attention to in order to prepare better for the white walkers.

6. “The night is dark and full of terrors.” – Melisandre
I feel this is a warning and a threat by Melisandre to everybody who dare stand in her way (or in the way of the Lord of Light).

7. “You know nothing, Jon Snow.” – Ygritte
The final words of Ygritte are kind of a symbol of her love for Jon. Moreover, they contain a little truth in them, as Jon really does not know many things.

8. “A Lannister always pays his debts.”
This can be a bribe or a threat, depends on the situation.

9. “Chaos isn’t a pit, chaos is a ladder.” – Littlefinger
Saying this, Littlefinger reveals that he is not afraid of chaos and that he actually uses it to gain personal advantages by manipulation.

10. “Power resides where men believe it resides. It’s a trick; a shadow on the wall. And a very small man can cast a very large shadow.” – Lord Varys

11. “If you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention.” – Ramsay

12. “Any man who must say ‘I am the King’ is no true King.” – Tywin

13.  “A mind needs books like a sword needs a whetstone. That’s why I read so much.” – Tyrion

14. “Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe.” – Arya Stark

15. “The freedom to make my own mistakes was all I ever wanted.” – Mance Rayder

16. “A dragon is not a slave” – Daenerys

17. “The Lannisters send their regards.”  - Roose Bolton
A line from the show which will most certainly bring back sadness because of the many deaths in this same episode.

18. “I’m not going to stop the wheel. I’m going to break the wheel.” – Daenerys
She sees the need for change and is confident enough to think that it will happen when she is the ruler.

19. “Burn them all!” – Aerys II Targaryen

20. “A lion does not concern himself with the opinion of sheep.” – Tywin
This line perfectly displays he pride and the arrogance of the Lannisters.
