Healthy alternatives to your favorite junk food snacks

Ever had the urge to eat something sweet or unhealthy? You know, those foods that you know are bad for you, but you just can’t resist them because they are so delicious? Yea, me too and thats why I’m going to show you some healthy alternatives to you favorite junk foods.

1. Baked veggie fries instead of French fries - they can have the same crispy yet soft texture as regular French fries, but are so much healthier. Just take one sweet potato, chop it up and put it in the oven. It’s so easy and you’ll get much more healthy nutrients from it.

2. Yogurt fruit pops instead of ice cream - if you’re craving something sweet, ice cream is not the way to go. If you are in a creamy mood, mix diced fruit in your favorite yogurt and put it in the freezer for couple of hours. If you want something chocolaty dip bananas in melted 75% or higher dark chocolate and put them in the freezer, too. The great thing about making your own frozen desserts is that you control how sweet they are and the things you put in them.

3. Homemade smoothies instead of milkshakes - when it’s hot outside and you want a cold, thick dessert turn to the healthy choice which is fruits. You can make different combinations with all sorts of fruits, yogurt and whatever it is that you like. They are a great way to get more healthy nutrients in and keep you fuller for longer.

4. Chocolate-dipped nuts instead of candy - the main reason why candy is so popular is because of its texture and combinations of flavors. So next time you choose to eat candy, make a healthier choice and munch on chocolate-dipped nuts or fruits. If you want something crunchy use your favorite nuts, and if you prefer chewy candies you can use raisins or other dried fruits. Just dip them in dark chocolate, pop them in the freezer and you’re good to go.

5. Fruity sparkling water instead of soda - soda is probably the beverage which is preferred the most by people all over the world. And whether you drink regular or diet sodas, they both have chemicals which are not good for the body. So if you want to get the refreshing feel of a fizzy drink simply crush fruit or squeeze in fruit juice in sparkling water for a naturally sweet drink.

The watch in todays world

The watch has been around for decades and it has evolved quite a lot from spring-driven clocks, to pocketwatches, to how we know it today. It is a timepiece intended to be worn by a person around the wrist and many modern day watches often display the day, date, month and year. Today, most watches in the market are medium-priced, with quartz movements and are used mainly for timekeeping. However, expensive collectable watches often are valued more than for simple timekeeping and have traditional mechanical movements. Many watchmakers use combination of different metals, straps, movements, displays and so forth, so that people can find the perfect one for them. But from so many different variations and functions to choose from one rarely stops at just one or two.   In modern days people use it as an accessory rather than to look at what time it is, but nonetheless many still prefer to know the time by looking at their wristwatch instead of their phone.
