Things to do when you’re bored


We’ve all been bored, and it’s probably one of the most frustrating things in the world. You want to do something, but don’t know what and it drives you crazy at times. So here are some things which you can do to get rid of the boredom. 

1. Take a bike ride - bike rides are a great reason to get out of your house and get some exercise in. Not only would it keep you occupied, but it would also help you sleep better and boost your brain power. 

2. Visit a museum or art gallery - how many museums or art galleries are there in you town and you haven’t been to a single one of them? Well, next time you’re bored give it a try and you’ll see that it’s actually quite fun and useful. Not to mention the things you could learn, don’t think of it as something which only older people do. As I said, give it a try, it won’t hurt and you’ll discover something which you’ve been missing out on. 

3. Clean you closet - you know the closed you’ve been ignoring to clean? Well, instead of getting mad at not knowing what to do, get up and clean it or organize it. Your mom is not going to do it for you, and only you know the way you want your clothes to be sorted. Don’t procrastinate it, you’ll feel good about yourself and some time will have passed by. 

4. Lear something new - the world is full of interesting facts, information and so much more! Get on the internet and read for whatever interests you, or take a course in photography, painting, playing an instrument or whatever it is that you like. Just don’t sit around and do nothing, always be hungry for information and knowledge! And not just when you’re bored, but always! improve yourself, invest in yourself!

5. Explore your city - now I know that you’ve probably been to a lot of places in you city, but there are always some hidden and beautiful spots that even you don’t know about. Get up and go somewhere different than your usual cafe or restaurant. Explore! 

6. Binge-watch a series that you really enjoy - always thinking about that series that you really liked, but can’t find time to re-watch? Well why not when you’re bored and can’t figure out what else you could do. It’s a time killer and you’re likely to look at it from a different perspective than the first time.
